After the successful Photokina launch of the M-Y family, a range of easy and compact aluminum tripods, Manfrotto is now proud to present a new version: the M-Y carbon basalt tripod 732CY.

Ideal for photographers who travel and need a lightweight yet simple tripod, the 732CY is available both, with a built-in ballhead, or without one, to choose exactly the head you need. The 3.5 kg maximum payload is the highest among the M-Y range, and when folded, it reaches a compact size of 42.5 cm, with an opened height of 134.5 cm and a total weight of less than 1 kg. By using carbon basalt tubes, the 732CY tripod kit is almost 15% lighter than the comparable M-Y series aluminum model.

Like other M-Y tripods, the legs can be set at two different angles to adjust for height, such as low-angle shooting, and for uneven surfaces, in order to keep the tripod properly balanced.

The leg collar is made of die-cast aluminum to maintain rigidity, and the center column lever is easy to hold, made of anti-slip rubber.

The 732CY introduces the innovative Expander, a new mechanical fixing of the first leg section to the collar, creating more stability. The leg can be retightened when necessary to the collar, ensuring high rigidity and performance.
